Lucid Investment Strategies (formerly Amivest Capital Management) is a division of Dumont & Blake Investment Advisor, LLC.  Amivest was formed in 1975 to offer clients equity, balanced and fixed income investment management services by seasoned investment professionals. In June 1998, Amivest Corporation was acquired by North Fork Bancorporation Inc.  In December 2006, North Fork Bank was acquired by Capital One. In January 2008, Amivest Investment Team formed Lucid Investment Strategies, LLC and joined Dumont & Blake Investment Advisors.

In recent years, Lucid's Investment Team provided investment management services using its proprietary investment process for 35 institutional clients and over 240 smaller retirement funds totaling approximately $650 million in assets.  Lucid's Investment Team pioneered no load mutual fund investing and continues to be an industry authority and leader using this strategy.
